“You are addressed the way you dress.” – definitely a quote to remember โค๏ธ

  • @prophetchrist1994 says:

This is emotional intelligence at its finest. Gentlemen, we must secure and protect such ladies at all costs. When she speaks, we cannot tell the color of her skin from the majestic vowels within her wit. She is a phenomenal woman. The priceless kind I predict

This is just so inspiring! I feel like practicing my Christian values is what an elegant woman is!
    Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ’“ โ˜บ๏ธ

    • @arlenecollier2011 says:

I feel the same. Itโ€™s stunning how Godโ€™s way of suggested living shows up in women as elegance. We win on both sides.

    • @iamnicolewebster says:

      I agree ๐Ÿ˜Š

    • @prophetesstheresaatkins6111 says:

      This is so true

    • @ennythingelegance says:

Yes, it is. Godโ€™s standards should always be the first level of standards. However, some aspects of elegance donโ€™t necessarily come as mandatory requirements for being a Christian, for example, table manners. So, see elegance as an extra level of standard.

    • @sharinekb says:

I agree. I’ve seen elegant women in church. Some have their own careers, some are retired, and some are home taking care of their household. All of these women have wisdom and elegance. They’re also humble.

  • @joannaferrara5884 says:

I think also another one is to be discreet, not tell everyone your personal business or about your life. Just my thoughts.
    Thank you for your videos!!!

  • @ObeyDaqSwaqq says:

I found your channel in 2021 and completely reformed myself. My Nana sent me one of your videos about three months ago, completely unaware that I found your channel, and now we have a commonality ๐Ÿ˜‚ She really adores you and your brand. She was so pleased with me the last time she saw me and saw my new found femininity and elegance through my new wardrobe and mannerisms. I took a lot of inspiration from you and went and bought cashmereโ€˜s, wool, and silks. Now, every time I leave my house Iโ€™m dressed to perfection and I get so many compliments and respect. I donโ€™t even wear trousers anymore, only skirts and dresses, and I even started wearing modest head coverings. The attention I get is overwhelmingly positive from women as well as men (yes they do still give compliments and open doors for women of elegance) and I feel so confident now dressing in a manner that is appropriate for business, casual, church, or brunch at all times. I now have a positive self image by looking presentable and elegant and feel even prettier ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ Thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

I came from a poor family, yet my mother love to sew and made me the most beautiful clothes as a child and teenager, with very little money she took me to the ballet, to learn to ballroom dance, to go to art galleries and so on. My favourite thing she said to me is โ€œfirst impressions count you can dress with style without much money and look well put together, have manners and kindnessโ€ everyone used to think we lived in a beautiful home, little did they know we were poor. I have continued to care about my grooming and presentation all my life, I also learned about etiquette which helped me refine myself. My mum had wise words. Itโ€™s easy to look good on a budget, so there are no excuses. Being a kind person with manners is free too
Thank you for such a great video, it reminded me of my wonderful wise mother.

    • @erikathomas5801 says:

Yes all you said is true. I remember I was homeless at one point, couch to couch; some nights in my car and people thought I was just living my best life because the way I presented myself but nope majority of those days I was sad and hungry lol.

    • @shellycove9140 says:

@@erikathomas5801 that is amazing resilience to be able to be able to hold your head high and be your true elegant self whilst going through these times. We need to have that inner self respect to stay positive when deep down we are doing the best to thrive during tough times. I can relate to what you have been through. Thanks for sharing.

    • @professordumbledore369 says:

Your mother is a wonderful woman

    • @shellycove9140 says:

@@professordumbledore369 thank you to all the wonderful mothers out there xxxxx

    • @Pompolo_pom says:

Your mom was a wonderful mother. My mom passed when I was seven. I had to teach myself everything I know. As you said the impressions matter a lot. I learned to look good with little money or nothing that I have. I taught myself to dress very well using cheap clothes. My classmates in boarding school used to think I was a selfish girl who didnโ€™t want to share with them. They used to think I come from a rich family based on my appearance.

  • @cinder8290 says:

All good points. I strive daily to be a woman of elegance. I am financially dependent on my husband though, it brings him great joy to make the living. I keep our home spotless and do many little things for him that he enjoys. It’s old fashioned and we love it.

  • @JJ-jo3rl says:

I love this! I wish that etiquette and manners could be taught in schools as a requirement (not for a one day or week) along with real life skills such as personal hygiene, financial skills, gardening, taking care of small animals, volunteering in the community, simple cooking skills, and safety in various situations. Yes people may say these are things the parents or caregivers should instill in children, yeah but many donโ€™t. I believe these are the most important skills to build strength and character in becoming a young adult and will carry a young person farther than what is currently taught in schools curriculum.

    • @antheawilliams-dodds4941 says:

So true, and sometimes parents do not instill because they do not have such knowledge to impart.

    • @anacom4238 says:

YES. School curriculums need to be updated for the dealing with the real, modern world. A lot of parents aren’t teaching their kids how to.

    • @amarrookie1097 says:

Still ready to learn but from where ?

    • @lubanya7841 says:

I agree with you 100%. So many important and needed knowledge that can be prioritised in teaching little children at school than teaching them about sex and other vulgarities.

    • @susanb5058 says:

I agree with you 100%!! These things seem to be currently lacking in society for whatever reason. They are essential skills and character attributes that would greatly improve peopleโ€™s lives and society as a whole if they were taught in school, as unfortunately they are not always taught at home.

  • @mariadykeman7008 says:

I was about 40 years old when a dear friend said to me” never forget you are a lady her words were more precious to me than gold”.

  • @jacquelinesmith-gaston2071 says:

I love being feminine. I keep things together…for myself as well as for my husband. Thank you for your helpful videos.

I am 76 years old. in a correct way, I wish I was 19 years old now. Your videos are eminently educational not just for the woman who wishes to have class and elegance but also for any real gentleman who wishes to be in the company of her grace. Thank you for the time and attention you share with so many who care about and respect your service.

    • @lucindamoran8686 says:

Beautiful! Thank you lovely lady! I agree with everything you say! I have tried to live my life in a lady like manner as my dear mother instructed me. I am sorry to say that some women are not as fortunate, or didn’t have anyone to show them or don’t care nowadays. However you my dear are beautiful and refreshing and a joy to listen to. Many Thanks!

    • @rshdaanpu6942 says:

Thank you for creating such an interesting channel. Ever since I was in grade school I remember checking out almost every book dealing with etiquette. These books explained in great detail everything from the proper way to walk downstairs to how to set a dining table.

Finding your channel was like finding a dear friend with whom I lost contact.

I’m looking forward to enjoying future videos and I’ve already subscribed and hit the like and notification bell.

      With warm regards.

INSPIRED! I had a successful 20+ years in tech sales & management. My grandson was born unhealthy, and his mother passed away. Iโ€™ve spent over 4 years @ home caring for children. In the next twelve months I will return to career mode. I am 50 feeling as though Iโ€™ve lost many social skills as an adult. Thank you for your inspiration and reminders in being a lady. Iโ€™m gearing up!

  • @dianewarde6074 says:

You are truly a woman of elegance and class. I just found this video today at the age of 70! As a retired educator, I can only imagine what a beautiful world we would have if your videos were a full on course that could be taught to girls in schools all over the word. Kids today need to feel their self worth, and to enforce it with good manners and concern form others. Thank you for providing these lessons. You exude poise and grace.
