I don’t buy scarves anymore, I used to buy so many but i don’t wear them anymore. Skincare is still an issue for me because I get bored of the same products/scents.

    • @yes_anotherone3260 says:

I need to listen to this. I buy a lot of scarves. I wear them all the time though so…

    • @carolc2574 says:

You could buy smaller tubes of skincare products and switch brands every time you finish one 🤔 as long as you keep only one unit of each item nothing goes to waste

  • @saraswatinayagam7123 says:

Minimalism in terms of what it means to me…how true. It is different for different people. Minimalism doesn’t mean you have cut on everything. It also means that you do conscious shopping and retention of things

  • @chanreka says:

High heels that are pretty but not functional… That growth for me too came after having kids 😂

  • @a5ft10fox says:

OMG! I had to stop myself from buying extra pens and notebooks/journals, too. They just make me feel so together and organized. Lol…I am not buying more until I use the ones I have. Glad to know I’m not alone!

  • @nejiskunoichi0011 says:

Amen with the cell phone!! I have been holding off buying a phone until my phone doesn’t work anymore 🤣

  • @ohmygoodnessgoddess says:

    3. Face masks
    4. Magazines
    5. Random skin care
    6. Uncomfy shoes
    7. Pens and stationary
    8. Notebooks
    9. Latest cellphone
    10. Cocktail dresses

  • @ohmygoodnessgoddess says:

    I no longer buy:
-« trendy » clothes. I keep it way more basic to make things last longer
    – nail polish
    – manicures
    – spray tans
    – random vegetables I don’t know how to cook
    – Ebooks- i get them free from the library online, it’s just as easy

  • @onetallgirl1369 says:

I no longer buy hair products. I’m natural and there is always a new brand of natural hair products coming out like every month and I used to buy it and now I have 3 medium size boxes full ( and I mean full to the top of the box) of hair products. My mom saw these boxes of hair products and she said, ” how many hair products do you need, you only have one head”. lol! She’s right. So told myself that I will not buy another hair product until I finish all the hair products in these boxes.

    • @janetmcd3282 says:

Good 4 u. It’s called Shop My Stash. There’s plenty of yt videos on that very topic. I’m watching vids & learning 2 shop my bodycare (BBW) lol.

    • @solarlola5953 says:

Reason why I have so many is because I’m looking for the right product but I’m determined to finish my pile or give it to my mom. Her hair accepts all products

    • @chinazaokechukwu says:

I hear you sis😂, I listed it on my video also
Hair products did me dirty esp because I had so issues.

    • @khadidjatoundiaye37 says:

Used to be a product junkie too when I first started my natural hair journey. My linen closet was full of products, stopped when I finally realized it wasn’t about the products but about the techniques and what my hair liked and stick with those few products instead of chasing the next” perfect” one, plus hubby was like “do you have a new side hustle i don’t know about ,are you opening a hair store”🤣

    • @3amouhi says:

      @@khadidjatoundiaye37 🤣🤣🤣

  • @msp6469 says:

I stopped buying high heels around 2 years ago. I just couldn’t take the pain. I still have about 50 pairs to sell with some not even used. I’m going to do a no buy year with clothes this year. I have so many because I worked in a popular high street store for over 10 years and used to get a 60% discount. Last year made me put things into perspective and made me realise I need to save more for my future.

  • @tanial8171 says:

All of these I not longer buy. Another things for me is craft supplies, plants, home decorations, vitamins and miracle supplements, clothes. This happened after having my son, 3 years ago… I need to work on my food decisions though, I am strugling with food waste. I try hard to meal plan and a grocery shopping list, but with a picky toddler and husband, sometimes I cannot finish the healthy stuf by myself.

    • @jarabee2022 says:

I feel you. I buy LOADS of craft supplies I spent $300 in the month of Dec 2021 in craft supplies alone – it’s hard to control.

  • @ruthmeaway8118 says:

    6. Face serums
    7. Perfumes
    8. Scarves
    9. Short skirts

  • @Jaz-px5pr says:

    Mines would have to be:
    Food on the go
    Clothes that I won’t wear
    Too many hair products
Random things I wont use like hair clips
    Coffee mugs
Car washes when I can do it myself
    Too many useless office supplies
    So many candles
    Plants
    Alot of produce at once

  • @thatbankergirl says:

Beautiful and insightful video , I am on this table and it took me being unemployed to become intentional with my spending

  • @uneek515 says:

This video made me think about my love for markers ✍🏾. Not ready to stop buying them though… but I have stopped buying:

  • @jemilagulston7742 says:

Some people would usually tell me I am cheap but I don’t care because I always know the value of money. I rather use my money on traveling or investments

  • @antonnettamstrong2983 says:

I no longer buy anything that’s on sale bcause it’s on sale !!! … especially clothes and shoes!!! I cleaned out my closet n became a minimalist and started buying quality pieces !

  • @phelarephelemusicacademy8330 says:

    Insightful indeed…

    ● It has been almost 10 years no longer buying fast food like KFC and Mc Donald…
    ● I have cut on buying red meat… it has saved me money
    ● I used to be obsessed buying different brands of hair sprays… I only buy one which lasts me a long time
    ● I no longer buy different brands of body lotions… one is enough
    ● I am slowly getting out of the habit of buying mugs… it’s a serious obsession 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • @nickyhypolite7867 says:

I no longer buy bottled water(my filter is good enough for me), I no longer buy plastic bags (I recycle the ones I get from the groceries). And since I’m going natural I stop buying a whole lot of products as I love to make my own from home naturally.

  • @ypayne9871 says:

Yes. Love this video. I no longer buy fast food. I No longer buy high heeled shoes. I no longer buy real name brand purses. I no longer get credit cards… on debt free lifestyle.

  • @Everythingsucks438 says:

Regular nail polish no more, pay for manicure no more. Gel polish kit from Amazon, Sally Beauty on sale polish ($3 in the back) …. Saved so much money! It’s fast, cheap, & no sitting still for hours to dry! I have spent less than $75 over the past year to expand my tools & products. I have been doing my nails for almost a year now. Salon Manicures would have totaled over $1000 & I lose so much time at the salon.
