Vivian is like a sweet classy elder sister that’s always looking out for us and helping us feel more lady-like 🥺♥️
Aww thank you my dear💜
Absolutely 💯
I can’t be you but I’m happy to see this one
So sweet of you🥰
Yes Vivienne is a sweet classy lady but she is more like my really wise YOUNGER sister.
This video reminds me of my mother (she passed in 2016 at the age of 88). My mother was a child of the Great Depression in the United States. Despite her very humble upbringing, my mother was always beautifully presentable. Everyday, she would put on make-up, style her hair and put on nice clothes. She may not have had any designer labels but her clothes were always neat, clean, and pressed. She had a signature look with a headband and flower in her short hair. Every time we went out in public, people would come up to her and tell her how beautiful she was. She was a very classy lady. When I would visit her apartment building, and someone found out that I was Donna‘s daughter, they would tell me what a class act my mother was. You are absolutely right, Vivienne, you don’t need money to be elegant and classy. My mother was a perfect example.
@@princessirulancorrino4695 thank you for your beautiful reply. You described my mom beautifully. My mom had a kind and gentle spirit that gave her a beautiful glow and countenance. I truly believe that is what drew people to her. She was adorable, yes, but her spirit shined through her lovely face and people responded to that.
What a lovely memory/story! Thank you for sharing it with us. As my mother always said, “Class will out.” Sounds as if your Mom was a class act.
Beautiful❤ so happy for you that you got to be such a classy mother’s daughter!
@@DominiqueFrancon u were so lucky to have a mother with such a class and a beautiful soul 🥺 have a good say ❤️
That’s a really beautiful tribute to your mother. You were blessed to have such an example.
I’m in my 60’s and so appreciate your content. You are absolutely exquisite🌹
I started my “level up” journey immediately. First, I got my hair in a style that was easy for me to handle. And I have a weekly routine for my hair. Then I went to the thrift store and found used garments to wear to look presentable until I can lose the extra twenty lbs I am working to get off. You can start anywhere. We only have one income and I just shop frugally.
You are an inspiration…
You are doing great keep going don’t stop
Wonderful start 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 see YOURSELF 20 pounds lighter and ponder on the excitement you’ll feel once your goal is achieved. Nooo criticism of yourself. Affirm: I AM my perfect size…
💞 thanks loved this!
Team Joy!
This is inspiring. We need to raise a community of elegant ladies
I agree wholeheartedly!
The refinements of life are disappearing. You are correct. If we don’t make a conscious effort to preserve them, they will be gone forever and our children will be clueless.
You could start a meetup group for elegant ladies.
Vivian may potentially consider setting up a membership for elegant ladies to communicate with each other!
Right? I am with you!
“Chew your words before you spit them out” Noted. Thank you beautiful, wise Vivienne. 🌹
Thank you. “Money isn’t everything and it shouldn’t stop you from becoming elegant woman” 👏 Thank you once again.

Ever since I became a Christian, the Word of God has been my guide to not only to know Him and how to please Him, but also a guide for refinement. These are all characteristics of a godly virtuous woman.
My grandmother was an elegant woman of very modest means. Someone once referred to her as a “poor old woman”. That was the wrong thing to say! She pulled herself up to her full height, looked them in the eye and corrected them by stating “I am NOT a poor old woman. I might be mature and financially embarrassed but I will always be a lady. And it would be in your best interest to remember that.” Her example changed my life.
Confidence always plays it
I happen to be an English Language teacher, currently doing a post graduate training course.
I admire the broad vocabulary Vivian uses in her speech!!!
What an inspirational woman!!!!!! I’ve been implementing almost everything she mentions for many years now, even before the Internet!!!!! It’s inconceivable to me that women need to be reminded of their nature!!
Respect to this beautiful woman, Vivian!
I’m a widow and I met a widower because he mentioned he had been watching me because I carried myself different from the other women at the senior center where I attend. He said, “ you come in do your activities then you would leave and not hang around gossiping”. He liked that about me. I’ve always been a nice conservative dresser, wise with money and health conscious. They say I don’t look my age. Line dancing is one of my passions along with working with justice organizations. I like to read and I have an eye for decorating. I treat people like I would like to be treated. I relate to a lot of the things you mentioned and have taught my daughters to be ladies. I aspire to become better. Thank you.
Beauty fact from an aesthetician: consistency is key! You can save the expensive and aggressive treatments for when you have big events coming up (not less than a month before ladies!)but a good daily practice will be the key to looking your best 24/7.
*Wear less make up.
*A good quality daily cleanser will be an investment you won’t regret. You really need a very small amount (pea to dime size) and any excess just dries your skin. Use it at night (and after sweating like the gym or the beach). You can find good ones for $10-$50USD that will last 4-6 months easily.
*wear sunscreen daily. Even in winter. Even if you’ll be inside an office all day. WEAR IT.
“Self control in the face of provocation, is the litmus test for refinement” what a brilliant quote!
It often feels so hard to be elegant while being working class. My hands are rough and my back hurts but finding this channel makes me feel hopeful for the future. Especially as I work to get out of this dead-end job and focus more on my education.
Hello Belladonna, I have the same problem with my hands specially in winter. This is what I do: twice a week when I wash my hands I put a little bit of sugar to make a scrub, but be gently and only rub your hands for a minute or two. After that use a good lotion. Also you can visit a quiropractic at least twice a year 😉
I know what you mean. What I use to do when I felt unladylike with my profession was to make sure I dress well and pamper myself at least on the weekends or when I’m off. I also use church to dress up and feel more feminine. I have a habit of acting manly but im trying to get out of that.
I go to the dollar store for my pampering needs .
Sleep bonnet
Pretty hair pieces
Lotion
Nail care
Makeup .
Walmart and kohls and thrift stores for classic neat pieces .it’s more about presentation & attitude than anything else & it works well for me
There are free clothing events I go to as well I’ve found beautiful pieces . Keeping hydrated, eating clean & exercising & sunshine helps me feel well overall .
Reading , watching this type of content is helpful too . We don’t have to be rich to be kind , put together & beautiful . I am now attracting higher quality people into my life . I was raised in trash , drama & abuse so that’s what I was accustomed to .
@@Christinesobsevations Lovely!
People who give up in life are people who lose in life, my first experience happens to be a failure but I never gave up cause I knew it was going to work out for me trying continuously, fortunately I’m smiling today by getting involved in investment.. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life too 🙏🙏🙏
Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. I learnt from my last year’s experience, i am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time.
I urge everyone to start somewhere now no matter how small, this is literally the time for that, forget material things, don’t get tempted,i became more better the moment i realized this.
Yeah perfect advice for the moment 💯
Yeah investment is the key to sustaining your financial longevity but venturing into any legitimate investment without a proper guidance of an expert can lead to greater loss too
exactly! That’s my main concern and what kind of investment can someone do with this increase economy turndown
My darling, you are the epitome of the “Virtuous Woman” of Proverb 31:10-31!
I applaud you for unselfishly inviting us to share in this lovely journey of Leveling Up!
As a young girl, I had always been teased for my “Proper Speaking”, having had a Military father– that made my sisters and I learn three new words out of the dictionary every day– we also had to tell him what the words meant, how to spell them, and put them in a sentence, along with pronouncing them correctly!
However, after perusing several of your videos– I am appreciative for that discipline from my father, because he understood the value that enlightenment would mean to our lives as we grew into adulthood.
I am an avid reader and I love doing research. My greatest passion includes helping others to learn how to read, to speak and spell better.
So, when children ask me how to spell a word– I excitedly say; “let’s look it up in the dictionary”! And that enthusiasm rubs off on them😄
It’s refreshing to hear a young lady, talk about refining oneself at a low cost or no money at all, too many people focus on material things, and brand names too and many extravagant things that they cannot afford and a lot of times the person that’s talking about cannot afford it themselves, and they do not practice what they preach , this is why I say this is refreshing to hear . Beautiful video.
I totally agree, because before I got married I was soft, very kind, loved and enjoyed wearing dresses but as I was with a toxic partner those traits were forgotten. I had to toughen up to protect myself and lost myself in the process. It’s not only about wearing a dress or heels but I was a free spirited and and laid back. My advice just be who you are and we are all beautiful, find your self and be comfortable❤
My mother was an elegant woman. She always looked her best. Never went to the nail salon, never had her hair styled professionally, or had a professional facial or mask. She did these things herself at home. She didn’t have designer clothes but her taste in clothes and accessories was impeccable. Also, her speech and character were the best.
Thank you for this fresh perspective of elegance and leveling up. I truly feel more confident with the idea of leveling up with limited funds as a single mother
