What to do if you see Discharge from your Breast?

If you notice any discharge from your breast, it’s natural to think of the worst case scenario.

Breast discharge is usually harmless, and assessing your medical history and the characteristics of breast discharge can help put your mind at ease.

1️⃣ Check the color is it clear, milky, yellow, or bloody?
2️⃣ Is the discharge coming from both breasts or one?
3️⃣ Is the discharge associated with other symptoms like lumps, redness or pain?
4️⃣Are you in some medications like antacids, anti anxiety drugs or anti depressants.

Answering these questions will help you in a little self- assessment but a proper consultation with a gynaecologist or a breast specialist is must for proper diagnosis and treatment.
