Stop Comparing Yourself | 5 Steps to Find YOUR Magic!

The first 500 people to use my link will get a 1-month free trial of Skillshare!

In a world full of influences, trends and comparisons it’s easy to lose sight of who you are or to feel completely overlooked. Some people imitate others in hopes of fitting in or gaining some approval. Others needlessly nitpick and belittle others to feel better about themselves. Discovering who you are and what your powers are, is so important. We all have our own magic, our own special traits and way of doing things that is unique to us and noticeable to others. Sometimes we need to find it and sometimes we just need to learn how to express it. And that’s what I want us to get into today.

This process is not about feeling like you’re better than anyone else. It’s simply about putting yourself in a position where your strengths can thrive, grow and be appreciated. Because when you’ve found your skills, your purpose, your magic you’re too busy tending to that and developing that to spend your life chasing trends or engaging in petty comparisons. When you find your magic, you won’t allow yourself to be taken for granted and competition will become virtually nonexistent. You may even inspire others to find their magic as well!

I liked the points of taking inventory of all your unique qualities. They will make us special. I also liked the final point about trying new things and not boxing ourselves in.

I recently started learning how to play the piano. I can only play Mary Had a Little Lamb and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star 😂😂😂😂

You should make a workbook with all your tips and exercises like the list you mentioned at the start. Give a template.

You could say this video was magic ✨ 😂

I LOVE these tips. I’ve been struggling with comparison lately, and needed to get off social media. This made me realize I guess I don’t know much about myself at all and need to start doing some digging and exploring. I always felt like I was different from other women because I don’t like the same things (I sound like a pick me lol) but this calmed my spirit and let me know that being different is way better anyway 🙂
