breaking through the image one has created is so damn hard. people consciously and unconsciously try to put you back to the place you wanna leave. so yes ladies consistency is the key here to become whoever you want to be in 6 months.

  • @brunamiranda387 says:

You explained in such a short amount of time what some people take many books and workshops to teach. This is so on point! I am truly grateful for the way you put this out so many women can change and upgrade their lives.
When my depression was taking over me, I could barely figure out what I wanted out of life. I wrote down a couple of dreams but never followed up on them. That really is the most important part. Reflect on what should be the steps to make it real. I also tend to reflect on what is keeping me away from what I want – bad habits, and how I can change them in order to focus completely.
It has been 2 weeks since I started noticing a big difference between the person I am now and who I was 2/3 years ago at my lowest point.
Gonna share my personal steps/actions very briefly:
-I took alcohol off my life. I do not party anymore and I stay away from people who only want to meet when they drink. It never works out and I regret it immensely the next day.
    – I make 2 types of lists. 1- tasks on my phone using the Notes app. Those are the tasks for the day, as soon as the day is over, I delete the note and create a brand new one for the following day. 2-goals for the month, things that need to be accomplished in all areas of life, but I keep it down to no more than 10 things.
-I check in with myself. When I feel anxious, sad, angry, I stop and try to work it out in the same moment. If needed, I give myself some time to digest the feeling before taking any action. Most of the times, the feeling solves itself with just a walk in the park, some journaling and a shower.
-Inspiration session: I always try to get inspired in the morning or evening, creating a visual board of how my future looks and the things I love. It can be anything at all, what matters is to keep the flame of motivation alive!
-I am not always motivated, but if I know what I need to do, I try my best to just do the minimal(on a hard day) to get closer to my goals.
-Keep love close to you. People, animals, nature, music, prayers…love comes in all kinds of ways, starting from your heart.

    Have a lovely journey ladies!

      Hello,
I just wanted to say that after reading your comment, I can relate to so much of what you were saying. Do you have any idea how many times over the years I have set goals for myself or started self-improvement Journeys only to have them come to a screeching halt or having to put them on the back burner because of some issue or another great life event popping up unexpectedly. But it’s like the wonderful woman of this channel set, sooner or later you have to face yourself. You have to decide what you want and who you want to be. You’re going to have to decide on who’s going to make that person the outer forces that surround you or the things that are within you. They will always be life interruptions, there will always be a situation, A Circumstance, the unexpected, things that are shocking, surprising, Etc but we have to learn how to move on, push forward, and continue with our original plans. For so long, I used to just stop and throw my hands up in the air and lose my Focus. But I realized, if I continue to do this, I’m never going to get anywhere. So I just made sure that I had alternative plans set aside for the unexpected or some type of life event or situation. But the main thing was to keep going.🏃‍♀️

  • @meeunice says:

I’m honestly ready for the new me. I’m excited to meet her. I’m so tired of this one. I’m grateful to her, but I’m ready to let her go. She’s brought me to this point in my life.

I think it needs to start from within. YOU have to decide when it’s time. I’m pursuing the new woman I want to be with aggression and with no apology. From my appearance, finances, to my hobbies and eventually love. Six months is doable.

“If it doesn’t serve me, it doesn’t deserve me”. That’s my motto now.

Thank you so much for this video!

  • @andreaviola8675 says:

I am 100% going to focus on fitness and finance. I am in my mid 50’s, my ultimate goal is to be “that woman” and redefine what 50-60 can look like and be.

    • @TheFeminineUniverse says:

Yesss! Love this so much! You can absolutely redefine what 50 – 60 looks like. I just came across a picture of Angela Bassett, who is in her 60s, in a bikini and was just stunned. I’m looking forward to your journey, queen! 💕

    • @denisebrock3154 says:

I like that idea. This is a great level up goalthat I can strive for during my journey. I’m going to put that on my to-do list. Thanks

      Yea!!

  • @judyliu8014 says:

After 5 years of severe depression and 3 years of wanting to make a change but not knowing how, I’m so glad to have stumbled onto your videos.

I’ve really neglected myself and who I wanted to be for so long now. I want to reach for my dreams instead of giving up on them. I want to look good. I want to save money. I want to treat myself like a princess while having the wisdom of a queen. I want to be proud of myself.

Depression takes so much out of you and you fall into self-destructive habits so easily, even after coming out of it. So often, I feel like I’m behind on life compared to everyone else. So often, I feel like I barely know how to function as a human being.

But I’ve just settled into a job that I actually like and respect, and I want to level up my life. I don’t want to settle for being a person I dislike for the rest of my life!

I’m going to start small. Just doing skincare every morning and every night. If I manage to keep that up for 6 months, I’ll try adding daily exercise for 30 minutes to my routine. Like you said, the key is to do 1-3 things at once, and I don’t want to scatter my focus with other things right now.

I’m just at the start of my journey, but I hope to get where I want to go someday!

Thank you for all the tips/advice! I’ll likely be seeking your guidance in the years to come.

  • @zoheret15 says:

It works. I pushed for 6 months consistently and lost 35 lbs. We can do it ladies!

    • @denisebrock3154 says:

I feel you girlfriend. My gold or should I say one of my largest goes this year with to lose weight I want to live a healthier lifestyle. I actually have always been a very nice eyes and always have eaten healthy but over the past few years because of stress from taking care of my mother, my grandmother and home hospice, and myself, I begin to put myself on the back burner and of course things begin to just do a downward spiral in my life. I was not focusing on myself as far as my health, wait, or what I was eating. I was so busy attending to other people’s needs that I forgot my own.
However, through all of that, God has blessed me to be able to do the things that I need and want to do. I actually started with a medical procedure which was to have my fibroids removed. I knew that this was a problem but I did not realize how bad it was! I actually had 15 pounds of fibroids within my tummy that made me look like I was four months pregnant! This procedure actually freed out my body and help me to do things I normally wouldn’t been able to do or have the interest of doing. It also remove excess weight that I did not know I was carrying from the fibroids

Since then, I have been able to have the energy and desire to diet and exercise like I need to in the first place. I’ve noticed that my weight is coming off a little bit better and I’ve also had to start some thyroid medication to balance out my thyroid and my other female hormones. Since then, the weight has been coming off a whole lot easier. I promised myself that if I needed help in this weight loss journey, I was going to get the help that I needed and wanted. My goal is to go from an 18 to a 10. I’ve actually lost not just a few pounds but quite a few inches which is very important in weight loss. I’m actually now in a very comfortable 16 and a quite tight 14!😁
My goal is to be in at least a 12 by the time I go on vacation in July. These clothes are obtainable if we have not just goals but realistic goals realizing that sometimes we have setbacks, Lazydays, thrown off schedules, and necessary resets but when I have these things occur, I continue to just get myself right back up and get into the swing of things. The key is to keep it moving🏃‍♀️

Love your analogy of how things can go wrong in 6 months, interesting how when you flip it you can see how things can quickly change in 6 months 🙌🏽 Accountability and Positive Habits are definitely paramount in acquiring ANYTHING in life 🙌🏽

    • @TheFeminineUniverse says:

Yes! I’m so glad that resonated with you. You’d be surprised how many clients start off with “that’s impossible” but when I breakdown how quickly things can go wrong then come back to how they can go right, it just clicks differently! Thank you for watching and for your feedback💕

Thanks for this ❤️ I was depressed for 2 years I stayed in the house basically waiting to gain the balls to off myself. After being drugged and raped by a tattoo artist I dated, hating my tattoos because they reminded me of the person, hating myself, feeling like my identity/sense of self is ruined, being a inattentive mother, couldn’t see a future for myself, just completely hated myself but I pulled myself out and now I feel like I still have hope. Tired of telling the same story but the narrative is changing. Practicing how to strengthen my discernment, setting boundaries spending time alone, being real with myself. Walking away from anything and anyone who don’t serve me well!!Always thinking of ways to improve. Most importantly i’m Trying!!!
