Why are Women Losing their Eggs Faster Now?| Dr. Anjali Kumar | Maitri
I recently met a 33 year old woman in the OPD, with a missed period, excited about the possibility of pregnancy.
Her pregnancy test was negative and further investigations suggested that she had low AMH and high FSH, suggesting that she was heading towards menopause.
She was shocked and obviously completely shattered.
These scenarios are becoming frequently common now and are disturbing for both doctors and patients.

Thank you Aamina. Wishing you the very best.
I think another scenario is where you don’t come into union with the person you are meant to be with, even in your late twenties or early thirties… If that person is not in your life, it is what it is… As much as people think that they decide and plan their life, it’s not like that… Some people are getting married “at the right time” for the sake of it and getting divorced.. not everyone will be able to get their eggs frozen as in certain phases it might not even cross your mind.. by the time you come out of the storm, it might be a bit late..
that’s when egg freezing is helpful
I was watching a video on a similar topic, and the doctor added that the quality of eggs is another factor.. but she didn’t throw light on how the quality can be tested and enhanced if low… There are other videos, but I would like to hear from you on this..
I love ur videos… u helped me a lot during my peri menopause journey….
Thank you.

I tried egg freezing at 35 as i didn’t wanted to marry …. i realised my eggs started reducing …5 in 1 ovary n 1 egg damaged one …. i dud it 4r 6 yrs
Egg freezing is the best option for those people who are not yet ready for pregnancy and want to have a good backup.
@anjalikumar4744 i m 44 …. unfortunately I had to stop the egg freezing process at the age of 43 as I was in perimenopause n didn’t think I was planning to get married in the near future … found it to b an investment so that I don’t land in a bad marriage
@anjalikumar4744 true 🥰
Can you explain the process of getting it done..From where,how much does it cost and all.
Have you gotten your AMH tested?
